The Syrian Ministry of Tourism, in partnership with the private sector, has launched the “Tamayouz” card and program, the first discount card dedicated to Syria’s tourism sector. It offers monthly renewed promotions and exclusive discounts of up to 50% at more than 70 partner establishments as part of the initial rollout, with the network expected to expand, across all tourism sectors, including hotels, resorts, chalets, and travel agencies.
His Excellency the Minister of Tourism, Mazen Al Salhani, stated:” This card reflects our commitment to establishing a structured culture of tourism discount programs, which represents a key component of any modern tourism sector. In its initial phase, the card is dedicated to domestic tourism, with operations scheduled to commence in early 2026. At this stage, it will benefit selected government employees, before expanding into a comprehensive system of discounts and value-added services. These will include offers issued by the Ministry of Tourism, as well as those introduced by the private sector under an organized framework.
We also aim to attract leading international programs to enter the Syrian market, spreading this global culture. This aligns with our ongoing integration into the world tourism map and our efforts to promote Syria as an international destination, leveraging its civilizational, cultural, historical, natural, recreational, therapeutic, and educational assets.”
