The test drive followed a 20 km city-style route entirely within Al Barari, allowing participants to experience the J5’s smooth handling, advanced safety features, and comfortable ride through a refined urban setting. Designed for the modern city dweller, the J5 is front-wheel drive (FWD) and offers three versatile drive modes — Normal, Eco, and Sport — to suit different driving preferences and urban scenarios.
The route fully demonstrated the J5’s capabilities as a practical and stylish SUV built for city life. Its independent suspension system ensured a seamless, bump-free experience, while the 540° panoramic imaging system provided enhanced visibility around tight corners and narrow lanes, offering peace of mind to every driver.
Inside the cabin, the J5 offered a multisensory experience. Featuring karaoke mode, a noise-cancelling microphone, and a powerful SONY sound system with eight speakers, the vehicle turned into a private music lounge. During a short break in the drive, guests enjoyed an impromptu karaoke session, with laughter and music echoing through the palm-lined paths of Al Barari — embodying the SUV’s mission to make every journey entertaining and engaging.
Beyond the drive, guests explored the J5’s thoughtful utility features. One of the key highlights was its spacious trunk — designed to comfortably accommodate luggage, camping supplies, or shopping hauls. The hands-free electric tailgate, which opens with a simple foot gesture under the bumper, added a layer of convenience and elegance that was especially appreciated during live demonstrations.
The event featured a stylish outdoor gathering that highlighted the J5’s camping-ready ecosystem. Guests explored features like detachable magnetic LED lights and clever gear storage that transform the vehicle into a hub for outdoor recreation. The SUV’s strong storage capacity and rooftop load capability further demonstrated its readiness for adventure — ideal for families, explorers, or city dwellers seeking more from their weekends.
