Tell us about SYP
SYP was created with a simple but transformative belief. Most people think their longevity is determined by genetics, yet research shows that only a small percentage of our lifespan is written in our DNA. Around 93 percent of how long and how well we live comes from the choices we make every single day. That realisation shaped the entire philosophy behind SYP. If our future depends so heavily on our daily habits, then wellness should be the easiest and most natural part of life. It should fit into the moments that repeat, the rituals we follow without thinking and the behaviours that never feel like effort.
From this idea came the foundation of SYP. We chose to place wellness directly in the water people drink every day. Water is universal, simple and essential. Turning it into a functional, science backed tool for longevity makes wellbeing both accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
What inspired you to found the company?
The inspiration came from years of observing how people approach ageing and how misunderstood longevity can be. I was fascinated by the science of why some individuals remain strong, mentally sharp and resilient deep into their later decades. What stood out was how preventable much physical and cognitive decline truly is. Ageing is not passive. It is profoundly shaped by our lifestyle.
Yet the wellness industry often felt complicated, elitist or disconnected from real life. I wanted to democratise longevity by creating something scientifically grounded but beautifully simple, something that fits naturally into the routines of busy parents, professionals and anyone seeking strength, energy or clarity. SYP was born from the desire to bring wellness to people in the most intuitive way possible, through the water they already drink.
Did you have any entrepreneurial experience prior to this venture?
Yes! I’ve been a founder for almost 20 years. Before starting SYP, I had a business focusing on gluten free and vegan snacks along with “better for you” products. Wellness and conscious eating have always been a core part of my life, and that venture allowed me to explore how healthier choices can fit into people’s routines through food.
However, SYP was different because it combined everything I am passionate about in a deeper and more holistic way. It brought together science, nutrition, lifestyle design and purpose. Building a brand with such a personal mission required me to evolve not only as a founder but also as a human being. This journey pushed me to dig further into the science of ageing, to understand consumer behaviour even more intimately, and to challenge outdated ideas about what longevity can look like in everyday life.
What has been your biggest achievement since launching the brand in the UAE?
Since launching in the UAE, we have been incredibly proud of the momentum SYP has gained. One of our biggest milestones was receiving an investment on Shark Tank from Amira Sajwani. Her belief in our mission and her support as an investor gave us both visibility and validation at a national level.
Another major achievement has been being selected for the Spinneys Incubator, which opened doors to meaningful retail opportunities and connected us with other founders who share our commitment to elevating wellness across the region.
These milestones, combined with the growing community of people who genuinely feel the difference SYP brings to their daily lives, have reinforced that the UAE is the ideal home for a brand shaping the future of longevity.
What are the latest trends in how people are approaching ageing?
People today are approaching ageing with a sense of agency and optimism. There is a powerful shift away from seeing ageing as something to fear, toward understanding it as something we can shape.
Instead of quick fixes, the focus is now on foundational habits. People recognise that the way they eat, move, sleep, think and connect influences their long term health far more than their genes do. As awareness grows, so does the desire for simple, sustainable and science backed routines. This is exactly where SYP positions itself, at the intersection of longevity science and everyday life.
What do you believe is the best approach to longevity?
The best approach to longevity is consistency. The human body responds to repeated inputs, not occasional efforts. Meaningful results come from small daily actions that compound over time. Longevity is not defined by a single supplement or a single workout but by the rhythm of daily choices that strengthen our muscles, brain and cells.
This belief sits at the core of SYP. By enriching the water people drink every day, we transform an ordinary habit into a long term wellness practice that requires no extra time and no added mental load.
What is the longevity stack?
The longevity stack is a term used to describe the combination of daily habits and nutritional compounds that support long term vitality. It is a framework, not a trend, and it focuses on the factors that influence physical strength, cognitive health, metabolic function and cellular resilience.
At SYP, the longevity stack guides our formulations. We work with ingredients that have decades of research behind them and that play essential roles in keeping the body strong and balanced throughout life.
Why is creatine so important for everyone?
Creatine is one of the most studied and beneficial components of the longevity stack. Although many still associate it with bodybuilding, the science paints a far wider picture. Creatine supports energy production inside the cell, strengthens muscle performance, enhances cognitive function and contributes to better mood and sharper thinking.
It benefits both men and women, supports individuals of all ages and is particularly important for those who follow plant based diets. It is one of the rare compounds that is both highly effective and exceptionally safe. Incorporating creatine into your daily water intake is a simple and powerful way to support both physical and cognitive longevity.
How is science helping us live stronger, longer and smarter?
We are living in one of the most exciting eras for longevity science. Research now offers clearer insight into how tissues age, how the brain protects itself, how muscle mass predicts long term independence and how emotional wellbeing shapes our health. Advances in nutritional biochemistry and cellular biology have turned longevity into something measurable and understandable.
SYP exists to translate emerging science into everyday habits that feel easy, natural and instinctive. By integrating wellness into daily water consumption, we make evidence-based longevity accessible to everyone.
How do you see wellness evolving over the next decade in the UAE?
The UAE is moving rapidly toward a future where preventative health becomes central to everyday life. Over the next decade, I expect to see a strong rise in data guided routines, personalised wellness strategies and integrated ecosystems that blend fitness, nutrition and recovery more seamlessly.
There is already a cultural shift toward strength, resilience and long term vitality. The UAE is uniquely positioned to become a global hub for longevity, and brands like SYP will play a key role in shaping that transformation.
How do you plan to expand and scale the brand across the UAE and beyond?
We are expanding across the UAE through strategic partnerships, community experiences and retail growth. We are also preparing to bring SYP to the wider GCC and then to global markets that are adopting longevity as a lifestyle value.
Our long term vision is global, but our mission remains simple. We want to place wellness directly inside the habits people already have. When you enrich a ritual as universal as drinking water, you make longevity truly accessible.
