Female Founder Spotlight: Alexandra Schoormans

How did you get started in business and tech entrepreneurship?

I’ve always had an entrepreneurial drive. After being active in the aesthetic medicine field, my next idea was to launch an app that helped parents and children connect through social activities. With no prior technical background but a strong curiosity for innovation, I decided to join a startup to deepen my understanding of technology and product building. That experience sparked my fascination with AI and data-driven innovation.

Later, moving to Dubai, I saw firsthand the growing demand for intelligent, results-driven solutions across fast-evolving industries. Drawing from those experiences, including exposure to organizations implementing AI and digital transformation, I founded Datails to help bridge the gap between data, decision-making, and measurable business results, with a focus on explainability and driving ROI.

Tell us about your new venture, Datails.

Datails is an Executive AI Copilot that turns data overload into clear, actionable insight. It connects fragmented systems, translates complexity into plain language, and orchestrates intelligent, real-time actions, all without requiring heavy involvement or full dependence on a data science team.

In short, it helps leaders turn information into decisions and decisions into results. Its flexible design makes it useful across industries and roles, empowering teams to make AI part of their daily workflow.

Datails acts like the nervous system of your business, detecting what matters, deciding what to do, and helping your teams take action in real time. If traditional dashboards are like a rear-view mirror, Datails is the co-pilot that tells you what’s coming next and what to do about it. We built Datails to be the translator between people and their data. It listens, explains, and acts, so decisions are no longer lost in complexity.

Datails redefines what it means to be data-driven, not through dashboards, but through action.

What inspired you to found the company?

My interest in AI and data grew from studying how organizations approach digital transformation and where most of them fall short. Global research from Deloitte, McKinsey, and other thought leaders made one thing clear: technology alone doesn’t drive results; adoption does.

That realization inspired me to focus on the human side of AI. I wanted to create something that bridges the gap between potential and practicality, a platform built around usability, explainability, and measurable business impact. That’s the foundation on which Datails was created.

AI isn’t failing because of bad models, it’s failing because of low adoption. Datails solves that.

What is the biggest challenge facing companies today?

Many companies talk about being “data-driven,” but the reality is that most are overwhelmed by complexity. They have data scattered across different systems, tools that don’t communicate, and teams that struggle to extract meaningful insight.

Even with AI on the rise, adoption remains the biggest barrier, not because of lack of technology, but because most solutions aren’t designed to fit how people actually work. The challenge isn’t just technical; it’s behavioral. True transformation happens only when people trust and use AI as part of their daily routine.

How do you bridge this gap?

With Datails, our approach is centered on adoption first. We designed the platform as an Executive AI Copilot that simplifies how organizations detect, decide, and act on information. Instead of replacing people or systems, it is designed to fit seamlessly into existing workflows, translating data into clear, human language and automating routine decision steps.

It’s about turning insight into habit, helping leaders move from reaction to prediction, and building confidence through transparency and explainability.

We’re not competing to build a bigger model; we’re redefining how organizations adopt and trust AI in daily decision-making.

What features make Datails unique?

What makes Datails stand out is its balance between simplicity and intelligence. The platform connects instantly to existing systems, generates insights in seconds, and explains them in a way anyone in the organization can understand, from executives to analysts.

It’s built with a privacy-first architecture and a focus on human-centered AI, meaning every recommendation is transparent, traceable, and actionable. Our design philosophy is clear: powerful technology should feel effortless to use.

Datails contributes to the evolution of enterprise intelligence, helping organizations move from insight generation toward true decision orchestration.

How are you growing the company?

Right now, our focus is on building strong foundations, refining the product, validating real use cases, and forming meaningful relationships with early adopters who share our vision.

We believe in growing through credibility and value, not just visibility. Every conversation with a potential partner, client, or investor helps us shape the platform to solve real business problems, not hypothetical ones.

Dubai’s ecosystem is incredibly fast-paced and full of opportunity. The key is learning how to navigate it with purpose, focusing on what creates lasting value while giving back through shared learning and collaboration.

Tell us about the relationships you are building within Dubai’s innovation system.

Being part of the DIFC AI Campus has been incredibly inspiring. It’s a space filled with ambitious founders, investors, and enterprises that all believe in the transformative potential of AI. The ecosystem here encourages collaboration, not competition, which makes it the perfect environment for a company like Datails.

I’ve been building connections with tech leaders, AI professionals, and decision-makers who are all passionate about shaping Dubai into a global hub for innovation. Together, we’re not only learning and growing, we’re contributing to Dubai’s vision of becoming a global center for AI and digital transformation, and to a wider movement around responsible and impactful AI adoption.

What is your vision for Datails?

Our vision is to make AI adoption effortless, transparent, and trusted. We want organizations to move from complexity to clarity, using AI not as a buzzword, but as a genuine competitive advantage embedded in their daily workflows.

At Datails, we believe that trust and usability are the real measures of innovation. That’s why we focus on creating technology that explains itself, builds confidence, and delivers results people can see and understand.

The future of AI won’t be defined by scale or sophistication alone, but by how seamlessly it empowers people to make better, faster, and more informed decisions every day.

Our goal is simple: to help organizations turn data into action and AI into something that truly drives progress.
