After more than three decades of trust across India, heritage herbal wellness brand, Sunny Herbals has officially launched in the UAE, introducing its first hero product to the region: Aloe Vera & Calendula Cream, a multipurpose skin-healing moisturiser designed for desert-stressed skin. The launch marks Sunny Herbals’ first step into the Middle East, pioneering homeopathic-inspired skincare in the UAE while responding to a growing demand for clean, effective, culturally relevant skincare that sits between expensive premium brands and low-trust mass products.
The brand’s UAE entry follows strong organic sales on ecommerce platforms, where Sunny Herbals products gained traction without paid advertising, signalling an existing appetite for accessible, herb-powered skincare solutions. Unlike many international brands entering the market with high price tags and complex routines, Sunny Herbals is positioning itself as an everyday essential: simple, gentle, and designed for long-term use. Backed by 33 years of heritage, the brand delivers clean, plant-powered formulations featuring gentle, non-reactive ingredients, climate-adapted textures, and accessible everyday pricing.
“At Sunny Herbals, we don’t believe skincare needs to be complicated or intimidating,” says Dr Taniyaa Bakshhi, Brand Lead of Sunny Herbals and Managing Director of Bakson Group. “Skincare should feel safe, simple, and trustworthy. Long-term consistency, not aggressive actives or endless steps, is what truly changes the skin.”
While UAE winters may appear mild, constant exposure to air-conditioning, indoor heating, and drastic temperature changes leads to hidden dehydration, sensitivity, and barrier damage. Aloe Vera & Calendula Cream was selected as Sunny Herbals’ first UAE launch precisely because dryness sits at the root of many skin concerns, from irritation and acne to compromised barrier function. The formula combines aloe vera, known for its cooling, hydrating, and barrier-supporting properties, with calendula, a time-tested botanical recognised for calming redness, supporting healing, and soothing sensitive skin. Designed as a true multi-use product, the cream can be used as a daily moisturiser, skin healer, makeup-prep base, and overnight repair cream, reducing the need for multiple products and simplifying routines.
“I’ve personally used this cream for over 28 years, for acne care, minor cuts, irritation, night-time repair, and even makeup removal,” says Dr Bakshhi. “It represents everything Sunny Herbals stands for: one thoughtfully formulated product that can replace many.”
“We are not here to be a passing trend,” adds Dr Bakshhi. “We are here to build long-term trust. When skincare works for generations, it works everywhere.”
Sunny Herbals products in the UAE will be priced between AED 30–50, making them accessible for consistent, long-term use, a key differentiator in a market where clean beauty is often positioned as luxury. Sunny Herbals will initially be available on Amazon.ae, with expansion to other ecommerce platforms and selected wellness-led retail partners planned later in the year.
Following the Aloe Vera & Calendula Cream launch, Sunny Herbals plans to introduce additional climate-conscious products, including herbal haircare solutions, sunscreen, gel moisturisers, and supplement-led beauty products, all rooted in the brand’s “less is more” philosophy.
