As more women across the UAE and wider region build businesses that are increasingly investment-ready, the conversation is shifting from ambition to access. In response, Founders Official, previously known as Female Founders Network, in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) UAE, will host its next Pitch Night on 18 June, bringing together a curated group of founders, investors and operators for an evening focused on connection, capital and opportunity.
The initiative builds on the momentum of previous Pitch Nights, which have connected female founders with active investors and industry leaders. This year’s edition introduces an additional layer, with event sponsor Bedford Capital awarding a $5,000 investment to one standout founder. It reflects a broader shift within the Founders Official platform, moving from community-building into more direct support of founder growth and access to funding.
“The conversation is shifting. We’re seeing more female founders building strong, investable businesses, and the real unlock now is access to the right people,” said Nicki Bedford, CEO and Founder of Founders Official. “Through our partnership with Amazon Web Services UAE, we’re focused on creating more of those moments where the right founders and investors come together.”
In addition to the investment awarded by Founders Official, the Pitch Night will also provide founders with exposure to a wider network of active investors, creating further opportunities for funding and strategic partnerships.
Applications for the June Pitch Night are now open via an online application, closing on Friday 29th May.
