BENEFIT, the Kingdom’s innovator and leading company in Fintech and electronic financial transactions service, held the inaugural event of their new headquarters building on Thursday, 23rd February 2023, under the patronage of the governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB), H.E Mr. Rasheed Mohammed Al Maraj.
The exclusive event was attended by the Central Bank of Bahrain Governor, Mr. Rasheed Al Maraj, BENEFIT’s Chairman, board members, CE, senior management and officials from the sector, as well as key media representatives.
BENEFIT’s Chairman, Mr. Mohamed Ebrahim Albastaki, addressed the event in a speech, where he highlighted the company’s evolution, symbolized by its brand-new headquarters, and its clear mandate to enhance Bahrain’s stance as the region’s financial hub, as well as empower a cashless society in line with its vision of being the Pulse of Bahrain. He also expressed gratitude towards the governor of the CBB, partners, financial institutions, and the BENEFIT team for bringing innovative developments to fruition.
Further remarks were made from the governor of the CBB, H.E Mr. Rasheed Mohammed Al Maraj, congratulating BENEFIT on their official launch and applauded their contribution towards the wellbeing of the society and emphasized how BENEFIT is making the Country proud. He assured that BENEFIT efforts are in line with CBB vision, especially in the field of fintech and digital transformation and that CBB is keen to continue supporting BENEFIT to reinforce strategic efforts.
HE concluded his speech by stating how BENEFIT became a role model in the region and that this should be considered as a testimony for the Company and its staff.
BENEFIT’s CE, Abdulwahed AlJanahi emphasized BENEFIT’s efforts in supporting the national direction of empowering a cashless society. He gave a snapshot of recent transactions’ statistics and reflected on recent key financial results that further cement the company’s commitment to shape the future of society through creative solutions.
The event included a video presentation to showcase BENEFIT’s journey over the past 25 years, showcasing the financial institution’s identity and its cutting-edge solutions, as well as its numerous initiatives, which have contributed to its success and renowned position as the Kingdom’s leader in the FinTech landscape. The ceremony concluded with a tour of the building for the guests.
The new headquarters is designed with purpose and will fulfill the emerging needs of BENEFIT’s growing team, clients, stakeholders, and the community with state-of-the-art facilities, and dynamic community focused areas to foster innovation and collaboration. It is a testament to BENEFIT’s long-standing mission to define the Kingdom’s financial future through innovative digital solutions.
