Coaching Spotlight: Andie Hassani

Tell us about how you became a business coach.

I always dreamed of starting my own business. But for years, I found myself sitting on my sofa after work, wondering if I was destined to keep building someone else’s vision instead of my own.

I craved freedom — the freedom to choose how I spent my time, to do work that truly mattered, and to live life on my own terms. Yet it felt safer to stay where I was, in the 9 to 5, following someone else’s rules.

I spent more than 20 years working across Europe, the Middle East, and the UK in both family-run companies and large organisations. Those experiences gave me a deep understanding of how people and businesses grow, and why they often get stuck. I saw the same challenges everywhere: poor communication, lack of direction, and talented people working hard but feeling unfulfilled.. At times, that included me.

These experiences made me realise:

– Success is not just about doing more or knowing more, it is about inner alignment, clarity, and having the right environment and support around you.

– Finding that alignment wasn’t a quick fix.

I spent a lot of time learning, unlearning, and surrounding myself with people who challenged me to grow. Through personal development and coaching studies — from business strategy to mindset and NLP — I began to understand what real transformation looks like.

That journey ultimately led me to become a business coach, combining my corporate background with the tools of transformational coaching to help others grow with purpose and confidence.

Why do all entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners need a business coach?

Entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners often seek business coaching because it provides structure, accountability, and expert insight that accelerate growth and reduce costly mistakes.

Today, as a business coach, I help entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners find that same alignment so they can pursue their goals, unlock their creativity, and build a business that reflects who they truly are.

Once that inner clarity is in place, I offer support in designing the practical side: a business strategy that aligns with your strengths, values, and goals. Because alignment means nothing without action, and strategy means little without alignment.

What has been your most notable achievement as a business coach?

As a business coach my notable achievement has been to uncover insights that clients have missed in their business . The biggest challenge facing entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners right now is uncertainty — but the solution is adaptability.

Can you give us an example of some of the business leaders you have coached and the results you have achieved?

Example 1: Anna Marietta; Founder & Managing Partner at Vici Advisory Limited- I helped Anna navigate communication challenges with a team member who wasn’t receptive to her requests, leading to frustration. My methodology made a significant impact.

Example 2: Veronika Bubenickova; Award winning Beast Cancer Holistic Coach & Therapist, International speaker & Author- she came to me with a business plan and clear marketing and sales strategies, I helped her dive much deeper into each area and uncover insights she had completely  missed.

What is the biggest challenge facing entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners right now?

The biggest challenge today is rapid, constant market change and to overcome this is flexibility , evidence-based decision -making, and smart use of technology.

How important is mindset to business success?

Mindset is not everything—but almost everything depends on it. You can have a great idea, money, and talent, but with the wrong mindset, business becomes an uphill battle. With the right mindset, even limited resources can become powerful.

Those who stay flexible, tech-savvy, and customer-focused will not just survive the turbulence but thrive because of it.  Mindset is extremely important to business success—arguably as important as strategy, capital, or even talent. It acts as the foundation for how entrepreneurs and leaders approach challenges, make decisions, and adapt to change.  Overwhelm is one of the biggest challenges entrepreneurs faces, and effective time management can make a huge difference. Here’s a simple but powerful strategy I often recommend — it’s called the “3D Focus Framework:

1) Define,

2) Design,

3) Delete.

Many entrepreneurs and business owners face overwhelm. Do you have a time management strategy you can share?

The 3M Strategy: Map → Match → Move

This method helps you reduce overwhelm, protect your focus, and ensure the right work gets done.

MAP — Clarify what matters most

Overwhelm often comes from treating every task as equal.

Action:

List everything on your plate, then sort each item into these three buckets:

      • Revenue-Driving Work

(sales, client delivery, marketing, product creation)

      • Operational Work

(admin, emails, finances, team management)

      • Growth Work

(strategy, systems, learning, long-term planning)

This gives you instant clarity: not everything deserves equal attention or urgency.

MATCH — Align tasks with your natural energy levels

Entrepreneurs lose time when they schedule tasks against their brain’s biology.

Action:

Identify your daily energy rhythm:

      • When are you sharpest?

      • When do you dip?

      • When can you handle routine tasks?

Then match tasks to energy, like this:

Energy Level            Best Work

High                             strategy, creation, problem-solving, sales

Medium                     meetings, collaboration, execution

Low                              admin, checking email, small tasks

This prevents “working hard” at the wrong times of day.

MOVE — Convert priorities into protected time

This is where overwhelm disappears.

Action:

Choose your top 1–3 outcomes for the week.

Then block time specifically for them.

Use the rule:

“What gets scheduled gets done.”

This means:

      • Dedicated time for revenue work

      • Dedicated time for operations

      • Dedicated time for growth

      • And buffer time to handle the unexpected (critical for entrepreneurs)

Another challenge business owners face is a feeling of being stuck; do you have a system to combat this?

Some business owners have the feeling of being stuck , this is one of the most common (and frustrating) experiences for business owners, especially when growth plateaus or decisions start to feel unclear. The key is to use a structured system that helps you regain clarity, momentum, and confidence. Think of it as a Momentum Reboot system:

1) Clarify the core problem

2) Reconnect to your vision

3) Break it into 90-Day stints

4) Get outside perspective

5) Audit your energy and environment

What other strategies can business owners implement to increase their success?

Business success depends on many interconnected factors, but there are several proven strategies that owners can implement to increase their odds of sustained growth and profitability. Here’s a breakdown across key areas:

1) Strategic Strength

2) Planning, Deepen Customer Focus

3) Optimize Marketing and Branding

4) Improve Financial Management

5) Focus on People and Culture

9) Leverage Technology and Innovation

7) Build Strong Networks and Partnerships

8) Enhance Operational Efficiency

9) Management Risks Proactivity

10) Prioritise Sustainability

What is next for you?

I would love to impact more businesses to grow and flourish into something extraordinary!
