Tell us about your venture Uphoric Labs

Our name was derived from “U,” which in physics is a common symbol for potential energy or internal energy of a system and ‘phoric” a state of being. Together, Uphoric Labs relates to the innovative support we provide our clients to identify areas, within their existing systems to amplify the state of being for their teams, activations, clients, and businesses.

Our consultancy operates at the intersection of creativity, strategy, and innovation —functioning less like a traditional marketing agency and more as an idea incubator fueled by a start-up mindset. Unlike traditional agencies, we specialize in shaping industry-changing ideas and developing transformative process structures that drive measurable impact. Every engagement begins with a focus on uncovering new technologies and untapped revenue streams, aligning creativity with commercial outcomes. By blending entrepreneurial agility with deep strategic insight, we help individuals and organizations reimagine their potential and turn visionary concepts into scalable growth-driven realities.

We evolved to fill a gap in the market, where brilliant individuals and companies brought on complex systems to address the need for synergy within their projects and businesses. Following this integration, they noted these systems, although often necessary, did not significantly amplify team success rates, customer engagement or enhance emerging revenue streams. We customize solutions to support these challenges, by bringing on simplified action plans and emerging cx technology, to complement and enhance the existing systems, resources, and processes.

What metrics do you use to analyse the success of the strategies you have implemented?

We approach evolution through a balance of quantitative metrics and qualitative insight, ensuring that creativity is measured with both precision and empathy.

First, we track engagement and participation: who showed up, how they interacted, and the engagement intensity.  That might mean participation in co-creation sessions, dwell time in experience, or interaction across digital touch points. The goal is to see whether the strategy is sparking genuine curiosity and engagement.

Second, we measure creative resonance and perception shift. After a project, we actively gather feedback, from partners, audiences, and internal teams through debriefs, surveys and conversations.  

Third, because collaboration is at the heart of our consultancy, we assess partnership health and value creation. If partners feel more aligned, more ambitious, and better equipped to experiment together after working with us, that is a key indicator of success.

Finally, we consider longevity and evolution: Does the strategy have a life beyond the initial launch? We pay close attention to whether tools, frameworks, or ways of working we introduced are being reused and adapted into the organization.

The metrics we use are intentionally multi-faceted: they combine measurable outcomes with the less tangible, but equally critical, signals of cultural shift, creative energy, and the quality of the partnerships we help build.

What has been your biggest success since launching?

Our consulting team partnered with a technology start-up aiming to leverage its expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to strengthen two main areas: internal team performance and growth in their ability to engage clients within retail and entertainment sectors.

To support internal performance, we created a motivational and wellness framework designed to improve teams’ resilience and productivity. This included regular wellness check-ins, motivational workshops, and resilience training integrated into the company’s daily workflow. The goal was to build a culture that fostered creativity, reduced burnout, and sustained high performance over time.

For sector growth, we developed a comprehensive strategy tailored to engage the retail and entertainment industries. This included generating creative ideas to address market gaps, analyzing customer behaviors to guide product design and engagement, and creating strategic roadmaps based on key market trends. We also provided development support to ensure smooth system integration and a focused go-to-market strategy to drive adoption and revenue growth.

After one year, the start-up reported a 14% increase in employee engagement and productivity, along with better retention rates.  In addition, the sector-focused strategy positioned the company to confidently project a 7-17% revenue increase for users, once a program was fully integrated into a client’s system.

We perceive this collaboration as a significant success, as it strengthened the start-ups’ internal structure and set the stage for a scalable, innovative platform that has the potential to redefine industry standards in retail and entertainment.

What are some of the emerging tools and trends in the industry, and how do you plan to implement them?

Our consultancy is constantly exploring, experimenting, collaborating and seeking out breakthroughs which redefine brand innovation. We presently have a sharp focus on:

Machine Learning (ML) & Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI): Enhancing ideation through, predictive modeling and data driven creativity.

Augmented Reality (AR)/Virtual Reality (VR) Creating immersive customer experiences.

Personalization Intelligence:  Utilizing advanced analytics for hyper-customized experiences.

Gamification and interactive installations: Gamification platforms add game mechanics, mission points and rewards, to activations, to drive repeat visits.  In addition to sensor-based platforms which allow for interactive experiences.

What is your vision for Uphoric Labs over the next decade?

In the next decade, we envision expanding our creative incubator model globally, developing proprietary data-creative platforms and leading creative education and innovation hubs that train creative futurists. The future demands creation, and that is where we thrive.
