Daniel Banks Nachmias is an entrepreneur, investor and father on a mission to reinvent how children learn in the digital age. As the Founder and CEO of Elysian Minds, he is pioneering a new approach to education that blends academic learning with the life skills children need to thrive in the real world.
Over the past two decades, Daniel has built and scaled businesses across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and the United States, generating more than $100 million in gross sales across industries including education, wellness, technology and property. Along the way he developed a deep interest in human performance, mindset and leadership, working alongside globally recognised mentors such as Tony Robbins, Patrick Bet-David and Andy Elliott.
But the idea for Elysian Minds did not begin in the boardroom. It began at home.
After relocating from Spain to Dubai with his son Kenzo, Daniel experienced first-hand the challenges many globally mobile families face when navigating different school systems and learning styles. While his son was intelligent and curious, frequent transitions made consistency difficult. At the same time Daniel noticed that many of the most important skills in life – emotional intelligence, resilience, communication, financial awareness and self-discipline- were rarely taught in traditional education.
What he did notice, however, was how effortlessly children engaged with digital games and online platforms.
That observation sparked a powerful question: what if education could be as engaging as the platforms competing for children’s attention?
Elysian Minds was created to answer that question. Designed for children aged 7–12, the platform combines UK-curriculum learning with essential life skills such as emotional intelligence, financial literacy, health awareness, digital safety and leadership. Delivered through interactive missions, rewards and gamified challenges, the platform transforms learning from something children feel forced to do into something they genuinely enjoy.
Early beta testing has already shown strong engagement, with students spending an average of nearly 50 minutes per session on the platform. Elysian Minds is now preparing for its public launch, supported by educators, advisors and strategic partners who share the vision of modernising education.
Early signs suggest the idea is resonating strongly with families. Even before its public launch, interest in the platform has been remarkable, with around 100 new families joining the waitlist every day.
Daniel chose the UAE as the launchpad because of its forward-thinking approach to innovation, technology and education. The country’s diverse, globally connected community makes it an ideal environment to test and scale a next-generation learning platform.
For Daniel, Elysian Minds is more than a company – it is a purpose.
His mission is to equip the next generation with the mindset, skills and confidence needed to navigate an increasingly complex world.
As both a founder and a father, he believes the greatest investment society can make is in the development of its children.
And if education can become as engaging as entertainment, the future of learning may look very different.
