Olaf Larsen, Senior Perfumer at Eurofragance, has walked away with the coveted “Perfumer of the Year” recognition in the second edition of the Beautyworld Middle East Awards held during the Beautyworld Middle East, the region’s largest international beauty and wellness trade fair, taking place between October 5th-7th at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
The “Perfumer of the Year” award rewards the best Perfumer who contributed to the launch of a new fragrance in the Middle East between October 2019 and October 2021.
Speaking about the award, Larsen, whose career as a Perfumer spans more than two decades, said: “I am absolutely delighted to have won this award, which is down to sheer hard work and heartfelt passion.”
During his career, Larsen has worked on both global and local projects, but the past years have seen him specializing in oriental perfumery and creating fragrances that are sought after by consumers in the Middle East and beyond.
